We have entered the adoption process to become a Vineyard Church!
B eginning in the Fall of 2020, after much prayer and consideration we began seeking formal affiliation as a church. This will be the first time in more than 50 years that Immanuel has been formally affiliated with an outside organization.
Because of our history, values and convictions as a church, it quickly became apparent that the Vineyard network of churches seemed to fit almost perfectly with who Immanuel already is. Therefore, in 2021 we formally entered the adoption process to become a Vineyard Church.

WHAT IS THE ADOPTION PROCESS LIKE?
As we continue to pray for the Lord's will in our potential affiliation, the Vineyard recommended that we take around two years to complete the adoption process. The early stages would be almost entirely relational. Since then, our pastors have attended their 2021 national conference, regional conferences and local pastor gatherings on a consistent basis. There were also lots of videos, books and training to engage concerning Vineyard values and DNA to become familiar with. This leads us (if the Lord wills) for a formal entrance into the Vineyard in the Fall of 2023.
COMING UP IN SPRING / SUMMER / FALL 2023
This summer, we will be having a series of events that will be designed for maximal congregational input, as well as as much exposure for the congegation to the Vineyard as possible.
SUNDAY MAY 21st: Directly after our morning service we will be hosting a church wide informational meeting, followed up by a Q&A from any who may have questions.
JULY: We will host one more Q&A and possibly more as needed. Dates TBA
AUGUST SERMON SERIES: VINEYARD 101 (Core Values): In August we will have a whole sermon series dedicated to Vineyard core values, and by invitation various Vineyard area pastors as available will help preach this sermon series.
SEPTEMBER 2023: In our annual Fall members meeting, we will host a formal vote for entrance into the Vineyard.
