SUNDAY MORNING

Jesus, in his encounter with the Samaritan woman at the well (cf. John 4:45), explained to her that worshipping God was a Holy Spirit endeavor. In other words, worship was no longer confined to the temple, but rather it flourished wherever the Spirit of God went, which is wherever the people of God are. At Immanuel Church, we believe that we are called to worship God in Spirit and in truth in the same way that was prescribed to the Woman at the Well...

On Sunday mornings, we do that through song, prayer, the public reading of Scripture, theologically rich and practical sermons, participation in the Lord’s Supper and community. As we come together for Sunday morning worship, we do this through the power of the Holy Spirit, that we might make disciples of Jesus Christ, as a local community of Christ followers in Wilmington.

Immanuel's kids ministries provide a safe, fun and engaging opportunity for your children to worship and learn in an environment that is age appropriate. Check out our Kids page for more information.

Service starts at 10am. Come as you are, but come expecting to encounter King Jesus.
